Another super event organised by Karen and John Steele, we met at Glarryford and were treated to Tea, Coffee, scones and wheaten (and buns) to get us geared up for the road, very nice it was too and we were soon on our way.

23 cars of various makes and models made up a great troop headed towards Slemish for our first stop. Despite a few minor issues we all made it up the slope to Slemish car park, the views were spectacular and we could see the black clouds rolling in.

We moved on through a couple of heavy showers and made a stop near the coast to view a private vintage collection owned by Wilbert Robinson.

By this stage the sun had come out and everything had become a little more pleasant. Our final leg then took us back along the coast road to the Halfway House for our meal.

We had 42 for dinner and I didn’t hear any complaints, food was excellent and we were well looked after. From there we went our separate ways, a few of us went looking for more rain to have with our ice cream in Carnlough.

All in all a lovely day out. Thanks again to Karen and John for all your hard work once again putting a great run together.
